Lapsang Souchong
World-famous black tea with a smoky, hearty character. It is made from Chinese black tea that has been lightly smoked over pine fires. An adventure for the uninitiated.
Lapsang Souchong is smoked in a traditional multi-layered structure built for this purpose. The fuel is knotty pine (including roots) for maximum resin content to give this tea a sharp hint of pine and the tea has a long exposure to give maximum smoky character.
